Barons Edmond and Benjamin de Rothschild have invested in a wide range of projects, and their Domaine du Mont d’Arbois in the French Alps has become the ultimate luxury skiers destination. The new Four Seasons Hotel Megève will be launched with Baroness Ariane de Rothschild assisting with the interior design. The hotel will be managed by the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and along with the 5-star hotel, will include Le Chalet du Mont d’Arbois and Spa, the 5 family restaurants, which include the 2-Michelin-star Le 1920, and the Mont d’Arbois Golf course.

The location, set along the snowy peaks of the Haute-Savoie Alps will open in time for the 2018 ski season. Apart from the new hotel, the project will also include the conversion of a group of traditional chalets, all in the heart of the medieval Mont d’Arbois village.

With an enviable position, only 44 miles from Geneva Airport, Megève faces famed Mont Blanc and is a skiers paradise. The area includes 130 groomed Alpine runs and powdered terrain. The Four Seasons Hotel Megève will be the first to offer direct access to the Mont d’Arbois ski slopes and will include 55 rooms, all nestled into the mountains with ski-in and out access.

Inside the old village of Mont d’Arbois, the existing chalets, all with typical Savoyard architecture, will be renovated and included within the Four Seasons Hotel, and offer a second unique destination in the ski village. Several of the chalets (Noémie and Alice) are located very close to the main gondola and also offer the charm of the village. Four Seasons will also manage the 18-hole Golf du Mont D’Arbois course designed by three-time British Open champion Sir Henry Cotton. There will also be four dining options throughout the two hotels.Among the chalets; Chalet Noémie is a short distance from the main chalet, and was built in 1920 by Henry Jacques Le Même, under the direction of the Rothschild family. The Chalet Noémie has five bedroom Suites. The largest in the collection, the Baroness Noémie Suite includes a special bathroom with open air jacuzzi. The more recently constructed Chalet Alice is in the classical Savoyard style. The entrance hall displays a series of original objects from the collection of the Baron Benjamin de Rothschild’s family: pipes, wooden walking sticks and sculpted nut-crackers. The chalet includes six bedrooms and two suites, a private dining room and a main lounge with large open fire. Included in the Chalet are two spa treatment rooms and a steam room.

  1. I’ve been browsing on-line more than three hours as
of late, yet I by no means discovered any attention-grabbing
article like yours. It’s lovely value enough for me. In my
view, if all site owners and bloggers made just right content material as
you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.

  2. Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog in the near future
but I’m having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
